Empowering families and changing lives through educational choice
The American Federation for Children and the AFC Growth Fund seek to empower families, especially lower-income families, with the freedom to choose the best K-12 education for their children.
AFC accomplishes its mission by helping elect candidates who support school choice, conducting lobbying and grassroots advocacy to help pass school choice laws and informing policymakers and families about school choice, helping children enroll in private or charter school programs that better suit their needs.

We believe every child deserves the opportunity to achieve his or her potential and advocate for school choice, which allows families to choose the best path for their child, regardless of their race, family income or ZIP code.
We support the American Federation for Children’s work to level the educational playing field, advocating for reforms that have brought our country closer to educational freedom and justice and educating families on school choice options for their children.
