Browns host Halloween fashion show for local children battling cancer

10/25/2025 - Suzanne Stratford, Fox 8

CLEVELAND (WJW) – From cleats to the catwalk, Cleveland Browns players brought their A-game to a “boo-tiful” event Tuesday night at Huntington Bank Field for the 4th annual Browns Give Back Halloween Fashion Show.

The annual holiday tradition supports families served by University Hospital Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital and the Littlest Heroes Pediatric Cancer Foundation.

Each player was teamed up with a child battling cancer as they strutted their stuff.

Browns safety Grant Delpit said he liked his Elf costume but really loved seeing the children having fun.

“Putting smiles on the kids faces and we’re just having a good time learning favorite dance moves, walking down the red carpet,” he said.

Browns guard Joel Bitonio participated in all four of the annual fashion shows and said it’s the kids that keep him coming back.

“The resilience and the fight these kids have is second to none. I mean, I have kids of my own and I couldn’t imagine what some of these kids have gone through. So to be here and spend a little time with them and give them a little joy, hopefully makes a little difference,” said Bitonio.

The Kardiac Club was decked out with spooky decorations and all of the families were served an array of sweet and savory treats.

“This is our first time so we’re enjoying it,” said Tiffany Jackson, whose six-year-old son has been battling cancer since he was three.

The entire evening was designed to give parents and children a much-needed time out from hospital visits and stress.

“It’s amazing. I mean, as a lifelong Browns fan to be invited here just means a lot to us,” said Tony Fries, whose young daughter underwent extensive chemotherapy but is doing well.

A number of players joined Delpit and Bitonio, including David Njoku, Rex Sunahara, Ethan Pocic, Cedric Tillman, Luke Wypler, Andre Szymt, Cornelius Lucas and Quinshon Judkins, who said seeing these children battle cancer so bravely is truly motivating.

“To see them persevere and push through different things and still have a smile on their faces, that helps me push in my life, so they’re really my heroes,” said Judkins.
