Expanding access to music education through community programming across northeast Ohio
Since its establishment in 1918, the Cleveland Orchestra has remained committed to educating and serving the Cleveland community.
Over the past ten decades, the Cleveland Orchestra has introduced more than 4 million young people to symphonic music through live concert experiences and has extended its reach further through education and community programs.
In 2019, we donated $1 million to support the Cleveland Orchestra's education and community programs. We love that this gift allowed us to help bring a world-renowned music experience by the Cleveland Orchestra into the classroom.
One Cleveland Orchestra program that we connect with especially is Mindful Music Moments, which exposes children daily to beautiful music by the Cleveland Orchestra, helping them focus and prepare for their day of work in the classroom and giving them tools that they can, ideally, utilize later in life in the form of mindfulness techniques.
